| Each year in May Holland Michigan welcomes approximately 500,000 visitors to their community and to their own celebration of America's Dutch heritage. Visitors from all over the world come to see millions of tulips planted in parks, gardens and lanes throughout the Holland community. Tulip Time hosts a wide variety of entertainment and activities for all ages. This year Tulip Time will have over 15 music and variety shows including national headlining acts like:

Bring your own kite to fly on the open flying field at the north end of the event, or test fly this year's newest kites on one of the manufacturers' fields. Shop an amazing selection of kites and wind toys and spinners in the giant MACkite tent on the beach, the world's largest kite store for the weekend. Be sure to stop in the north end of the tent for family fun games and crafts. Proceeds benefit the Children's Leukemia Foundation. | ||

Groups, families and individuals are judged and awarded prizes after the two-hour time limit to sculpt. Registration is from 9-9:45am and sculpting from 10am-noon with judging to follow.
