| ART ON THE ROCKS PREPARES FOR 2ND YEAR DOWNTOWN Art On The Rocks is gearing up for their second year at Mattson Lower Harbor Park. The move from Presque Isle Park was a big success for both the artists and the businesses of Downtown Marquette. Several restaurant owners stated that last year’s show brought in a record numbers of customers. The 52nd annual Art On The Rocks, sponsored by the Lake Superior Art Association, will be even bigger than last year! The jury process was completed in April, accepted artists notified in May and 190 booths will fill the park this year. Many new artists, as well as all your favorites, will be exhibiting in this year’s show. LSAA President, Jack Deo and Mary Earle will be co-producing the show again this year with a special group of volunteers that help make it all possible. A new layout has been planned, and of course, Pebble Corner will feature hands on art activities for the kids. Traditional Art on the Rocks festival food and beverages will be available from Vango's in the festival center and various musicians and performance artists will entertain throughout the show. | ||
